The State of Emergency was extended until May 22, 2020

In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, by the order of the President of Georgia on declaring a state of emergency on March 21, 2020, the state of emergency declared on the whole territory of Georgia was extended until May 22, 2020. The ban on moving cars has also been extended, and the ban will last until April 27. It is forbidden to enter and leave 4 big cities of the country - Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Rustavi and Batumi for the same period.

At the same time, the so-called A curfew that prohibits movement between 21:00 and 06:00 still valid. It is also prohibited to gather more than 3 people, and a distance of 2 meters is set between persons. All kinds of economic activities are prohibited, except for the exceptions provided by the government decree, all shops are closed, except food and pharmacy chains. Online shopping is limited.
