From October 1, amendments were made to the resolution of the Government of Georgia on the approval of the rules of isolation and quarantine. The change affected foreign visitors to Georgia from foreign countries, who had to go through numerous border crossing procedures to prevent the possible spread of COVID19.
According to the amendments, foreign visitors entering Georgia from foreign countries for business and / or labor activities are exempted from other mandatory procedures in addition to the heat measurement, including in-depth surveys by LEPL Revenue Service epidemiologists and travelers arriving from the "sick region". From filling, which involves sharing complete information about a person's last 21 days in the hospital and researching his or her possible infection, which then becomes the basis for a decision to isolate individuals.
Persons entering Georgia for the purpose of doing business or labor activities to the territory of Georgia in accordance with the order "On the Procedure for Filling in the Application and Obtaining Consent in the Electronic Program for Doing Business / Labor for Foreign Business in Georgia". A person interested in entering Georgia for the purpose of doing business or work is obliged to fill in the prescribed application form in a special electronic program, and the decision to give consent and / or refuse is made by the relevant institutions.
